
Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies (MACP) announced that Franco Cordeiro has joined the organization as Director, Enterprise Risk Management. Franco will lead our efforts to design and implement risk management strategies that support MACP in achieving its mission, including fostering a culture where a deep understanding of risk concepts and organization values guide staff in risk-aware decision making.
Franco comes to MACP with more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise risk management and resilience teams at organizations that improve human wellbeing. Franco was recently Senior Director, Enterprise Risk, Resilience and Crisis Response at Medtronic where he led the organization’s risk identification, preparedness, and crisis response operations.
Prior to his role at Medtronic, Franco held Senior Director roles at KPMG Consulting and Macquarie Bank where he focused on strategic change, enterprise risk management, and business and technology resilience. In addition to his long track record of managing risks at global corporations, Franco has also been committed to making a lasting, positive impact through advisory roles at nonprofit organizations.

Franco has a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Technology from The University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
