
In the fourth quarter of 2024, two new staff members joined Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies (MACP). Their experience, knowledge, and talent will contribute greatly to our mission, specifically to our Office and Facilities and Arts & Cultures teams.

Angela Berntsen, Administrative Receptionist with Office and Facilities. Angela (she/her) manages the reception area operations and provides administrative support to the Office & Facilities and IT teams. Angela has been working at MACP as a contractor in the Administrative Receptionist role since February 2024. Prior to MACP, she worked in administrative roles at global manufacturers nVent and Pentair. Angela has a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational communications and administrative management from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.
Sneha Shankar, Program Associate, Arts & Cultures. Sneha (she/her) supports MACP’s grantmaking processes and the organization’s goal to continue the intergenerational transmission of Native and folk arts and cultures. Prior to MACP, Sneha was Major and Planned Gifts Associate at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and before that, she taught English in Spain. Sneha has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish studies, with a minor in cultural studies and comparative literature from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
